The receiving advice. It reports how much was actually received, set against what was despatched.
Who sends it
Sent by the buyer after the goods have been received.
A RECADV carries two QTY values for the same line: 12 for the quantity despatched and 194 for the quantity received. The difference exposes short, over or damaged deliveries.
Without this message, invoice disputes are handled by hand; with it, the discrepancy is detected automatically and can be corrected before the invoice is even issued.
