Opens a sequence number. In just-in-time delivery calls it separates each delivery window: every SEQ starts a call, and the QTY and DTM segments that follow belong to it.

Watch out
The number sits in the second element and the first is usually empty, which is why the segment looks like SEQ++1. A parser that skips the empty element reads the sequence number from the wrong position.
