CPS — Packaging Hierarchy
EDIFACT segment
📘
Establishes the packing hierarchy of a shipment. It expresses the relationship between pallet, carton and product as levels: each CPS opens a level, and its second element points at the level above.

LEVEL_3 | Item Level |
Watch out
CPS+2+1 says that level two sits beneath level one. A reading that ignores this link loses which carton is on which pallet, and pallet-level counting at goods receipt becomes impossible.
